Editor's review
This software converts emails in MBOX format to Outlook compatible format.
AppleMail, Entourage, Eudora, Postbox, Netscape, PocoMail, Thunderbird, Spicebird, Opera, PowerMail, Claws Mail, Evolution, SeaMonkey, Sylpheed, Mulberry, GyazMail, Gnu, Sparrow, and The Bat! email clients use the MBOX format for storing emails. There are a lot of users of these clients combined together. But, the Outlook is the single most popular one. Often, for the sake of compatibility with others you need to change over to Outlook. Workspace demands could force a change too. These mails in MBOX are stored in a chained format. The interface is absolutely simple, and the user does not need any special skills to start using the tool. You just have to pick the type of email client from which conversion is to be done. Simply click on the radio button to choose the one to be converted. The MBOX file can be reviewed easily and can be added to an existing PST file or a completely new one.
MBOX format emails get stored on hard drives as a chain of emails in a concatenated format. Outlook does not support MBOX and uses the PST file format. When a migration becomes necessary, a software tool is needed to get the conversion done without errors. File attachments and embedded images can cause problems, unless they are handled properly. Loss of Meta key associated with these elements such as Date, Subject, To, CC, BCC, etc. could be an issue. This particular application takes care of these issues. All elements associated with the attachments are converted correctly. This application is compatible with Outlook versions 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2013 formats. This is a good tool.
